About the Artist
Maya Silverberg is a Hungarian-American artist based in London. She holds an MA in Fine Art from the Slade School of Fine Art and previously studied at Columbia University and the Van der Kelen Institute of Decorative Painting. Her work spans painting, sculpture, screenprint, and collage, often employing trompe l'œil techniques to explore the boundaries between image and object. Silverberg's practice investigates the materiality and spatiality of surfaces, engaging with themes of simulation and perception. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including at venues such as SPRING/BREAK Art Show, Art Market Budapest, and the Gerald Moore Gallery. In October 2025, she will present her first solo exhibition, Horseshoe Theory, at DOXA Budapest.
