“I wanted the chair to feel like it was growing back into nature — reclaiming itself through wood and fibre.”
About the Artist
Micaella Pedros is a London-based designer and maker whose work explores the creative potential of overlooked materials. Using reclaimed wood and everyday objects, she transforms discarded items into functional, sculptural furniture pieces. Her signature process, Joining Bottles, repurposes plastic bottles as a bonding agent for wood, blending sustainability with innovation. Micaella’s work has been exhibited at the London Design Festival, Aram Gallery, and the Design Museum of Barcelona, reflecting her commitment to ecological practice and inventive craftsmanship.
